Let’s Meet

BIO PICTURE 2

Hi! I’m Sydney, lover of all things vintage and pretty.

I’m part singer/songwriter, part baker, and part Martha Stewart wannabe.  I was born on the West Coast, but raised in the Midwest; I can eat cheese and drink beer with the best of them.

Dainty Dwellings is what some might call my home away from home. Here you’ll find everything from what I’m cooking up in my kitchen, to what I’m reading, to what music I’m jamming out to, and anything and everything in between. I post at least once a week.

 Things I Love:

  • Polka Dots: If I could marry them…I definitely wouldn’t, but I might think about it. I live in a polka-dotted world.
  • Breakfast for Dinner: If I could eat pancakes for every meal without getting tired of them, I totally would. Though Breakfast for Dinner made the list, Brunch is a close second favorite.
  • Dogs with Beards: My best friend is a Miniature Schnauzer named Oscar. He was born near Green Bay, Wisconsin, and will never cheer for anyone but The Packers.
  • Dessert: I have the biggest sweet tooth on the planet. If I wasn’t a baker, I would go bankrupt, but every bakery in town would profit tremendously.

This blog is for all my homebodies out there makin’ a difference one DIY project, baked good, and vintage find at a time.

Pssst! Let’s stay connected:
